Mother: "Wow, you swam really well!"

Kid (obviously disappointed with her aquatic prowess): "No I didn't!"

Mother: "You held your breath a long time!"

Kid: "NO I DIDN'T!"

Mother: "Well, you didn't drown. That's the main thing."
